Description:

MercyOne is seeking dedicated and patient-focused Urgent Care Physicians to join its expanding team across the Des Moines, Iowa area (Ankeny, Clive, South Des Moines, and Indianola locations). This role is an excellent opportunity for physicians with a background in primary care or urgent care who are committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered healthcare in a supportive and collaborative clinical setting.

As an Urgent Care Physician, you will provide high-quality care to patients with a variety of non-emergent medical conditions in a fast-paced environment. Physicians will have access to modern facilities, including on-site laboratory services and advanced medical imaging, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and efficient care. Each clinic is equipped with six exam rooms, and patient volumes average 45 patients per day between two providers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive and compassionate urgent care services to patients of all ages.

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of non-emergent medical conditions.

• Provide continuity of care in alignment with MercyOne’s mission and core values.

• Work collaboratively with clinical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Utilize on-site lab and imaging resources to support clinical decision-making.

Work Schedule & Environment:

• Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN positions available.

• Clinic Hours: Monday – Friday (7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.), Weekends (7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.).

• No on-call duties, offering excellent work-life balance.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $50,000 Commencement Bonus (for full-time positions).

• CME allowance up to $2,500 (for full-time positions).
