Vice President

 

Description:

The Vice President of Digital Communications will manage strategy, conception, development, and implementation of client campaigns across digital properties, including, but not limited to, websites, paid marketing channels, all social media channels, and other publications. The Vice President will help create and maximize online strategies and content across a variety of platforms, assist with technology management, and create and manage digital assets for key deliverables. The Vice President will provide counsel on how to increase the impact of digital platforms for clients, manage external vendors, and oversee advertising budgets.

 

A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE ABLE TO

  • Manage both the big picture and day-to-day implementation of the digital and social strategy for a variety of clients.
  • Oversee social media engagement across all digital properties, including organic content for clients.
  • Direct the production of creative assets, as well as perform graphic design work when needed.
  • Prepare and launch paid marketing campaigns on a variety of channels, including Google Search Engine Marketing, programmatic and responsive display, paid Meta/X/LinkedIn marketing, YouTube advertising, CTV/OTT, and publisher direct placement.
  • Supervise the development of campaign landing pages and large-scale websites.
  • Analyze digital performance, social media metrics, and Google webmaster tools data to leverage strategic insights and improve digital communications practices, return on advertising investment, and search engine optimization efforts (SEO).
  • Provide regular reporting on web analytics, digital marketing performance, and social media metrics to inform communications strategies to client leads.
  • Draft and edit copy for Search Engine Marketing, list emails, newsletters, infographics, social media content, and web landing pages.
  • Conduct staff digital media training to empower interns, associates, and other team members to deploy social campaigns and understand overall digital management.
  • Lead outreach and influencer engagement strategy to nurture connections across social media.
  • Work with tight deadlines, manage multiple projects concurrently, and manage time effectively.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Undergraduate degree and 6+ years of digital media management experience, ideally in communications, marketing, journalism, or politics.
  • Experience leading, creating, or disseminating digital and web strategy from inception to implementation and/ or helping to adapt and increase the presence of a growing organization.
  • Strong editorial and writing skills, ability to write strong, clickable headlines and content to generate views.
  • Experience with website management and familiarity with website content management systems.
  • Understanding of the media-buying landscape.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience in graphic design, multimedia production, trafficking of creative assets, and the visual arts.
  • Experience with project management, technology management, and advertising budgets is preferred.
  • Knowledge of SEM/SEO and mobile best practices.
  • Strong sense of discretion and ability to handle confidential issues.
