Vice President, Data & Analytics

Strategy & Leadership:

- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of data engineers and analysts; define career ladders and foster a culture of curiosity and accountability.

- Develop, execute and refresh data & analytics roadmap aligned with Morgan Properties' growth strategy, acquisitions pipeline, and technology modernization priorities.

- Partner with senior leaders across the organization to prioritize data investments and translate business outcomes into engineering requirements.

- Manage strategic vendor and platform relationships (cloud, BI, and data tooling providers); negotiate contracts and evaluate emerging technologies.

Qualifications:

Required:

- 12+ years in data engineering, analytics, or data architecture, including 4+ years leading cross-functional teams.

- Deep expertise in modern cloud data platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure (ADF, Synapse, Fabric, ADLS).

- Experience architecting and operating lakehouse/cloud platforms such as Fabric, Databricks, or Snowflake.

- Proven success delivering enterprise BI solutions, particularly Power BI.

- Experience integrating complex enterprise systems (ERP, PMS, CRM, HCM); real estate platforms a plus.

- Strong SQL and Python/scripting skills for data pipelines and transformation.

- Experience establishing data governance, data quality, and enterprise data strategy.

- Strong change-management and data-literacy leadership skills.
