Digitas Health, the world’s first global connected-health agency and a proud member of Publicis Health and Publicis Groupe S.A., is seeking a Vice President Director, Account Planning to join its Chicago office. As part of the agency’s creative organization, this role will be central to building strategies that inspire creativity, uncovering insights that drive brand growth, and shaping impactful healthcare communications for both consumer and professional audiences.
The VP, Director will act as a strategic partner, working closely with creative and engagement teams to ensure brand visions are fully realized. This role demands exceptional analytical thinking, strategic insight generation, and the ability to translate insights into actionable creative briefs that influence both clients and internal teams.
Strategic Insight Development: Uncover consumer and customer insights through research and strategic analysis to identify brand growth opportunities.
Creative Brief Leadership: Write and deliver compelling briefs that inform, inspire, and direct creative teams.
Client Collaboration: Partner with clients and internal teams to solve consumer challenges and implement growth strategies.
Research & Analytics: Conduct and oversee both qualitative and quantitative research, leveraging data analytics to assess brand and creative performance.
Workshops & Brainstorming: Lead collaborative sessions to generate innovative solutions and align strategies.
Trend Tracking: Monitor industry trends and contribute to agency points-of-view on market shifts.
Team Leadership: Manage direct reports and provide mentorship, while also supporting cross-functional strategy teams.
Business Development: Support account growth initiatives and contribute to agency development strategies.
Minimum 8 years’ experience in brand planning, strategy, or consultancy within a marketing or advertising agency.
At least 5 years of experience working on pharma brands, ideally with large and complex brand portfolios.
Expertise in brand strategy, positioning, research (qualitative and quantitative), and insights implementation.
Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative environment.
Demonstrated success in managing complex client relationships and delivering strategic excellence.
Salary range: $127,585 – $183,330 annually (equivalent to $10,632 – $15,277 monthly) based on skills, experience, and qualifications.
