Opti Staffing Group is seeking a Warehouse / Admin Specialist for a reputable, locally owned freight forwarding and logistics company that has proudly served Alaska for decades. As a Warehouse / Admin team member, you will play an essential role in supporting the company’s logistics operations—handling shipments, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring smooth coordination between the warehouse and office teams. This role offers the perfect blend of hands-on warehouse activity and office-based administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with incoming and outgoing freight and packages efficiently.

• Load and unload shipments while maintaining safety standards.

• Handle shipping documentation, data entry, and inventory tracking.

• Communicate with customers regarding shipment updates and inquiries.

• Maintain accurate and organized records of all freight activities.

• Collaborate closely with warehouse and office staff to ensure seamless logistics flow.

Requirements:

• Prior warehouse or freight handling experience is preferred.

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and shipment tracking systems.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Forklift certification is a plus but not required.
