Essential Functions
The Wealth Advisor is an integral part of the Wealth Advisory team. The team is responsible for providing financial guidance to families, individuals, and institutions regarding their portfolios and investment strategies. We are seeking a candidate that is highly motivated, has a positive attitude, willing to work in a fast-paced environment, and willing to grow and take on new tasks and assignments.
· Provides sound financial advice to current and future clients.
· Meets with clients to determine their financial objectives, risk tolerance, and future goals.
· Implements investment strategies to help achieve clients’ financial objectives.
· Actively plays a role in the company’s business development.
· Ability to help provide guidance for clients’ financial plans.
· Member of the Investment Advisory Committee.
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or other related areas.
· Designations preferred: Series 65 – Uniform Investment Advisor Law Examination and/or CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (can be taken once hired).
· Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
· Computer skills: Microsoft Office, CRM programs, the ability to learn and adapt to changes in technology.
· Ensures confidentiality with respect to all information pertaining to clients and potential clients.
· Possess a commitment to professionalism, honesty, and a strong work ethic.
· Prior Financial Advisor experience is preferred but not required
