Web Application Developer

Description:

A leading IT consulting and development firm is looking for a skilled OpenText & .NET Web Application Developer to join their team on a remote, contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in both .NET development and OpenText technologies, with the ability to work independently, gather requirements, and deliver high-quality web applications that meet business needs.

This role requires a minimum of 5 years of recent .NET development experience and hands-on OpenText development experience, along with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to both technical and textual detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using .NET and OpenText technologies.

• Gather and analyze technical and functional requirements from stakeholders.

• Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and deploy high-quality web solutions.

• Ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices.

• Manage server deployment processes and contribute to production rollouts (preferred).

Required Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of recent hands-on experience in .NET development.

• OpenText development experience is essential.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

• High attention to detail in both coding standards and formatting requirements.

• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in server deployment and production environment setup is a plus.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setup.
