Welding Operator

Description:

Meyer Tool, Inc. is seeking a Laser Welding Operator for the day shift. The role involves operating laser welding equipment efficiently and accurately, inspecting parts daily using various inspection tools, and performing preventive maintenance and minor adjustments. The operator will document production, maintain safe and organized work areas, and collaborate with supervisors and coworkers to ensure quality standards are met. Responsibilities include setting up jobs, tracking materials, maintaining inspection gauges, adhering to AS9100 and other quality standards, and contributing to development efforts as needed.

Candidates must have a high ability in welding, a High School Diploma or equivalent, and meet the ITAR definition of a US Person. The role requires reading simple part drawings, using micrometers and dial calipers, calculating dimensions and tolerances, and following verbal and written instructions in English. The position is safety-sensitive and requires pre-employment drug testing.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:
The role involves standing, moving throughout the facility, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, and using personal protective equipment.
