From The Farm is on a mission to transform the American food system by bridging the gap between small-scale farmers and buyers who value nutrient-dense, sustainable food. With an active network of over 90 producers across 35 states, the organization empowers local farmers by helping them sell at scale and retain more of their revenue. As From The Farm launches its new wholesale program, it seeks a seasoned Wholesale Sales Representative to build out a powerful buyer network from the ground up.

This remote, part-time role offers experienced food brokers or wholesale sales professionals an incredible opportunity to shape the future of local food distribution in the U.S. The focus will be on driving volume sales of beef, poultry, eggs, and grains to boutique grocery stores, independent food distributors, and institutional clients such as military bases, schools, and hospitals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, target, and engage with boutique grocers, restaurants, food distributors, and institutional buyers to promote and sell farm-direct beef, poultry, egg, and grain products.

  • Build and manage lasting relationships with wholesale clients, acting as a trusted liaison between them and From The Farm’s producer network.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies that support growth of the wholesale program while aligning with the company’s mission.

  • Represent the brand and its values of sustainability, transparency, and local empowerment in all client interactions.

  • Work in collaboration with internal teams to refine pricing strategies, supply planning, and market expansion tactics.

  • Promote the From The Farm direct-to-consumer model as a viable and stable supply solution.

Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in wholesale food sales or food brokerage, specifically in meat, poultry, egg, or grain products.

  • Strong existing network in boutique retail, foodservice, or institutional procurement channels.

  • Demonstrated passion for sustainable agriculture, regenerative food systems, and supporting local farming communities.

  • High level of motivation, autonomy, and goal orientation – success in this role directly impacts your income.

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a strong sense of mission alignment.
