Position Description

The Academic Support Specialist II of REACH Math Resources at the University of Louisville serves as an instructor and academic coach for GEN 103/104: Special Topics in College Mathematics intervention courses. The position provides logistical support for all GEN 103/104 sections by serving as the Testing Coordinator for all final exams. This person also assists with the management of the Math Resource Center (MRC), Emporium Math Lab (EML), and all other classroom locations for GEN 103/104 and Math Resources summer programs. The Academic Support Specialist II is responsible for planning, development, and implementation of summer bridge programs for undergraduate students. Finally, this position maintains MRC and summer program data to prepare annual reports on the effectiveness of programs and services related to the MRC.
