Pernod Ricard, through its affiliates Hiram Walker & Sons Ltd. and Corby Spirit and Wine Limited, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director, Cost Accounting to join its North America Operations Finance team. This critical leadership role will oversee a team of finance and accounting professionals across five manufacturing sites, providing strategic direction, financial leadership, and operational excellence in a high-performing, global organization.

Wiser’s, Lot No. 40, Pike Creek, Gooderham & Worts, Polar Ice, Lamb’s, Ungava, McGuinness, Cabot Trail, and Ace Beverage Group products. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the consolidation and reporting of monthly actuals, rolling forecasts, and close processes across North American operations.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship, ensuring consistent application of costing principles across all manufacturing sites.

• Develop, implement, and standardize efficient financial processes across the North American footprint.

• Manage and develop a team of finance and accounting professionals, fostering continuous improvement and professional growth.

• Oversee the Standard Cost Setting Process and ensure accuracy in cost accounting and variance analysis.

• Drive financial integrity across the balance sheet and ensure compliance with all internal control standards.

• Prepare for and manage quarterly reviews and annual audits (internal and external).

• Deliver ad hoc financial analysis, reports, and insights to support strategic decision-making.

• Lead process improvement and cost optimization initiatives across all operational sites.

• Ensure system integrity within ERP systems (JD Edwards Enterprise One or equivalent) and participate in system upgrades or changes.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or equivalent designation preferred).

• Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in accounting, financial reporting, and cost management within a manufacturing environment.

• Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting principles, and standard costing methods.

• Proven experience in large, multinational, and matrixed organizations.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.

• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation capabilities.

• Experience with JD Edwards Enterprise One or similar ERP systems.

• Strong interpersonal ability to engage and influence senior management and diverse teams.
