Accounting Analyst

Description:

Qualifications:

· 3-5 years of Corporate Accounting experience that includes knowledge of financial reporting and/or investments

· Proficiency with GAAP accounting standards and statutory reporting

· Advanced knowledge of MS Excel

· Ability to work hours outside of normal business operations during peak periods

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (equivalent industry work experience will be considered)

· CPA or related certification is a plus

· Experience working for an external audit/accounting firm is a plus

· must be living in the Houston area and/or willing to relocate, if located outside of the Houston area (if needed, relo assistance will be considered on an individual basis)

· must be willing to work according to the core schedule (i.e. in-office, Mon-Fri (except for occasional approved times that may necessitate WFH)
