Accounting Manager

Description:

Our manufacturing client is looking for an Accounting Manager for their local office. Ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience doing day to day accounting activities and be responsible for the monthly financial close.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting and finance day to day activities including supervising 1 accounting clerk.
• Ideally a candidate out of manufacturing or distribution industry
• Ability to accurately report month end close and year end close in a timely manner
• Have some strategic finance abilities and experiences.
• Ability to have recommendations for senior leadership
• Have the ability to do some project and cost accounting activities
• Oversee a couple of junior staff members for AP, AR and Payroll.
• 4 year Degree in Accounting is a requirement
• Having an advanced degree or CPA would be preferable
• Ability to prioritize daily activities and deadlines
