Accounting Supervisor

Description:

Growing company, Headquartered closer to the OC airport, is searching for an Accounting Supervisor to be responsible for month end close, financial statement preparation, flux analysis, and oversee accounting team of 4 to hit month end deliverables and deadlines.
Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities will be hands on while also supervising the accounting staff, general ledger accounting, month end close, and preparing financial statements.
• Review and approve team's journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Strong general ledger month end close, including fixed assets, operating expenses, accruals, prepaids expenses and more.
• Analyze revenue streams for various lines of business.
• Perform cost allocation studies for business units.
• Prepare and research budget vs. actual variance analysis.
• Preparation of audit schedules.
• Set, comply, and improve internal controls, policies & procedures.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years related working experience.
• 2+ years supervisory experience required
• Degree required
• The salary for this position is commensurate with experience but is in the range of $130,000 base salary plus 10% bonus potential.
• Strong advanced excel is required and larger ERP Accounting software experience (like Oracle or SAP).
• Excellent Communication and analytical skills are a must.
