Adult Education Instructor

Description:

The instructors will be expected to complete detailed, daily reports; abide by all College policies and procedures; and abide by all policies and procedures set by the Montgomery County Department of Corrections.

This is a temporary position with benefits funded through June 30, 2026. Employment continuation beyond this period is contingent upon need and funding.

Duties Include But Are Not Limited To
 

• Plan, develop and provide instruction in adult basic education in preparation for the GED® Exam or and English language skills development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
   

Required Qualifications
 

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Two to three years of experience teaching the areas of English Language Arts or Social Studies on the GED® exam, English for Speakers of Other Languages, or Special Education.
• Eligible applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States and not require employer visa sponsorship.
