Agile Project Manager

Description:

As an Agile Project Manager (APM) at Everest, you will lead, manage, and deliver projects in an agile environment, ensuring teams adhere to agile principles while meeting project goals. The role involves facilitating collaboration, managing timelines, and ensuring effective communication between stakeholders, developers, and Product Owners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Execution: Plan and manage projects using agile or traditional methodologies, ensuring timely delivery.

• Coordination of Agile Events: Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Risk and Impediment Management: Identify risks and obstacles, collaborating with the team to develop solutions.

• Collaboration with Product Owner: Manage project backlog and guide team priorities.

• Team Performance Monitoring: Track and report on team progress and KPIs, coaching teams on agile principles.

• Communication: Ensure clear and effective communication with stakeholders, engineers, and management.

Qualifications:

• Education: BA/BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• Certifications: PMP / CSM required.

• Experience: At least 7 years in enterprise infrastructure projects and 2-3 years as a Scrum Master.

• Skills: Proficiency in ALM tools (Jira, Planview, ServiceNow), cloud project management, and handling onshore/offshore teams.

• Industry Experience: Previous experience in P&C insurance projects is a plus.
