Area Business Manager

Description:

SiteOne Landscape Supply, the largest national distributor of landscaping products in the U.S. and Canada, is seeking an Area Business Manager – Agronomics to support branch operations across Southeast Florida. With 800+ locations and continued growth, SiteOne is committed to being the one-stop shop for irrigation, turf, hardscapes, lighting, nursery, pest control, and landscape maintenance supplies.

This leadership role partners with the Area Manager to drive store performance, growth, customer value, and operational excellence across assigned branches. The Area Business Manager will mentor and develop teams, ensure strong safety culture, manage financial performance, champion customer success, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to maximize business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build a Great Team: Recruit, coach, mentor, and retain top talent; foster a high-performance, teamwork-driven culture.

• Deliver Customer Value: Set and enforce high standards for service, product knowledge, and customer partnerships; spend time directly with customers to gain feedback.

• Achieve Results: Ensure sales growth, profitability, and safety excellence while monitoring KPIs and financial metrics.

• Drive Continuous Improvement: Lead change initiatives, encourage innovation, and facilitate idea sharing across branches.

• Business Acumen: Analyze market trends, competitors, and financial reports to optimize decision-making and strategies.

• Develop Winning Strategies: Partner with Area Manager to establish long-term strategic goals and execute prioritized action plans.

Skills We Are Seeking:

• 4–7+ years in the green industry (irrigation, landscaping, agronomics preferred).

• 4+ years of leadership/management experience.

• 2+ years of P&L management experience.

• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.

• Knowledge of sales/operations planning, inventory management, and forecasting.

• Salesforce experience is a plus.

• High school diploma (required); Business/Management degree or equivalent experience preferred.
