Asset Protection Specialist

Description:

ADUSA Distribution, a key part of Ahold Delhaize USA's supply chain network, is seeking a Specialist Asset Protection to join their Bethlehem, PA campus. The role involves overseeing asset protection and security functions, promoting a safe and compliant work environment, and ensuring the protection of company property, associates, and visitors. This position works in partnership with the Director of Safety & Asset Protection and campus leadership to develop and execute asset protection strategies while ensuring compliance with company policies, federal, and state regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage security and asset protection functions for the designated campus, including transportation oversight and compliance.

• Protect associates, visitors, and company property against theft, illegal activities, and security breaches.

• Develop and implement asset protection programs that enhance safety and minimize loss.

• Oversee physical security systems such as CCTV, access control, alarms, and perimeter security.

• Conduct and coordinate audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential threats.

• Lead crisis management efforts including emergencies, labor disputes, or weather-related incidents.

• Manage investigations related to theft, harassment, EEOC violations, Wage and Hour issues, and other incidents.

• Collaborate with corporate counsel, law enforcement, and government agencies during investigations and legal proceedings.

• Ensure facility compliance with safety regulations and assist in developing a safe working environment.

• Train, supervise, and manage security personnel, including contract staff and union associates.

• Prepare and manage the annual asset protection budget for the assigned location.

• Respond to emergency calls during weekends and off-duty periods as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• 5–7 years of experience in asset protection management or similar role.

• Knowledge of security systems, audits, and compliance requirements.

• Experience with crisis management, investigations, and legal proceedings.

• Preferred: Wicklander-Zulawski or Reed certified training program.
