The Department of Communication is seeking an Assistant Teaching Professor or Assistant Professor of the Practice effective July 1, 2027 to teach courses in a rapidly growing Marketing Communication minor. The position has a two-year initial term, renewable and subject to subsequent promotion in rank.

Qualifications: We are looking for an innovative teacher-practitioner with a minimum of two years teaching experience within higher education. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with AI tools and applications, data analytics, and evidence-based practices and will be able to translate that experience into tactical, career-ready skills for students.

Position Summary: Candidates are expected to teach six classes at the undergraduate level in marketing communication (a three/three load). Course topics include, but are not limited to, Introduction to Integrated Marketing Communication, Writing for Advertising and PR, and Communication and Consumer Behavior.
