In this role, you will work on high-profile maritime litigation cases, including cargo disputes, Jones Act claims, and marine insurance matters. Attorneys are given autonomy and responsibility from the outset, with the opportunity to develop their own practice and build a self-sustaining book of business. Long-term mentorship and support are provided, with a clear path to non-equity partnership within 7–8 years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle complex maritime litigation cases involving cargo, insurance, and seafarer disputes.

• Provide strategic legal representation with a focus on admiralty and maritime law.

• Collaborate with senior partners while gradually building independence and your own client base.

• Participate in significant domestic and international cases, occasionally traveling across the U.S., London, and Vancouver.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an associate in insurance defense or civil litigation.

• Strong interest in maritime and admiralty law.

• Excellent litigation, research, and client communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive annual salary of $130000 – $180000 (equivalent to $10833 – $15000 monthly).
