Description:

Scientific Search is seeking a highly experienced Associate Director, Project Management Office (PMO) to join their client's team in Liberty Lake, WA. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for a seasoned project leader looking to drive strategic alignment, improve operational efficiency, and lead project execution in a regulated environment. This position requires U.S. citizenship or a Green Card.

As the Associate Director of PMO, you will guide the organization's project execution framework, overseeing project governance, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and performance management. You will play a central role in ensuring the organization’s projects align with strategic goals and deliver high-value outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Governance: Develop and maintain project management methodologies, tools, and best practices

  • Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively for optimal project execution including staffing, budgeting, and scheduling

  • Risk Management: Identify and manage project risks proactively to prevent disruption

  • Performance Monitoring: Track project progress, ensuring adherence to timeline, scope, and budget

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain ongoing communication with internal and external stakeholders to align on goals and progress

  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and mentorship to project managers and cross-functional teams

  • Portfolio Management: Select, prioritize, and manage projects based on strategic goals and business value

  • Reporting: Maintain portfolio dashboards and ensure accurate, timely project reporting with effective escalation


Qualifications:

  • Master’s in Business Administration (strongly preferred)

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or PgMP (Program Management Professional) certification is required

  • Minimum 10 years of project management experience, including leadership roles

  • Continuous professional development in project management methodologies and tools

  • Prior experience in pharmaceutical or FDA-regulated project environments is preferred

  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to align project delivery with business goals
