Scientific Search is seeking a highly experienced Associate Director, Project Management Office (PMO) to join their client's team in Liberty Lake, WA. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for a seasoned project leader looking to drive strategic alignment, improve operational efficiency, and lead project execution in a regulated environment. This position requires U.S. citizenship or a Green Card.
As the Associate Director of PMO, you will guide the organization's project execution framework, overseeing project governance, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and performance management. You will play a central role in ensuring the organization’s projects align with strategic goals and deliver high-value outcomes.
Project Governance: Develop and maintain project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively for optimal project execution including staffing, budgeting, and scheduling
Risk Management: Identify and manage project risks proactively to prevent disruption
Performance Monitoring: Track project progress, ensuring adherence to timeline, scope, and budget
Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain ongoing communication with internal and external stakeholders to align on goals and progress
Team Leadership: Provide leadership and mentorship to project managers and cross-functional teams
Portfolio Management: Select, prioritize, and manage projects based on strategic goals and business value
Reporting: Maintain portfolio dashboards and ensure accurate, timely project reporting with effective escalation
Master’s in Business Administration (strongly preferred)
PMP (Project Management Professional) or PgMP (Program Management Professional) certification is required
Minimum 10 years of project management experience, including leadership roles
Continuous professional development in project management methodologies and tools
Prior experience in pharmaceutical or FDA-regulated project environments is preferred
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Strategic mindset with the ability to align project delivery with business goals
