Description:
Grant Thornton (US) is seeking an Audit Senior Associate I to work with both private and public companies, gaining an in-depth understanding of their business operations and associated risks. This role focuses on improving clients’ financial reporting processes, guiding them on accounting, financial, and regulatory developments that may impact their operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain the highest professional standards and client confidentiality.
Manage client engagements from start to finish, including planning, executing, directing, and completing financial audits within budget.
Supervise, mentor, and train associates and interns; perform in-charge roles as needed.
Identify and resolve client issues during the audit process.
Research and analyze financial statements and audits.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, finance, mathematics, or related discipline.
CPA or pursuing CPA license.
Strong technical accounting knowledge (US GAAP and GAAS).
Ability to lead teams, supervise staff, and manage multiple engagements.
Exceptional client service and communication skills.
Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and audit preparation software.
Willingness to travel on short notice and work additional hours as needed.
