Akkodis is looking for an AUTOSAR Software Developer in Dearborn MI, which is something you might be interested in at this point in your career.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join the Vehicle Software Platform (VSP) AUTOSAR Classic Development team. As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will work closely with our dedicated team, tool vendors, and AUTOSAR basic software partners to develop, integrate, and optimize critical components that drive the future of automotive technology.

 

Pay Range: $50-65/hour on W2

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the AUTOSAR Classic Development team, tool vendors, and basic software partners to develop application software components, Ford-specific Complex Device Drivers (CDDs), and basic software components in various Vendor Toolchains.
  • Create software requirements based on customer functional specifications and conduct release planning based on VSP release timelines.
  • Develop integration guides and work with tool vendors to validate Ford CDDs and basic software components across multiple vendor AUTOSAR stacks.
  • Perform code-level integration tasks, such as replicating build environments, source code debugging, and streamlining deployments.
  • Support Ford internal teams and Tier 1 Suppliers in deploying Ford's AUTOSAR platform and application software components.
  • Advocate for Classic AUTOSAR and its capabilities to internal teams at Ford.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.
  • 3+ years of Classic AUTOSAR experience in development and workflow.
