Duties and Responsibilities:
- Defend airlines, manufacturers, and insurers in complex aviation accident, product liability, and transportation litigation.
- Manage cases from investigation through discovery, depositions, motion practice, trial, and appeals.
- Provide coverage analysis and litigation support on aviation insurance and reinsurance matters.
- Advise clients on risk management, regulatory compliance, and strategic litigation positioning.
Core Requirements (Flexibility for Exceptional Candidates):
- JD and active bar admission (NY/NJ/DC preferred).
- 4–8+ years of insurance defense or complex litigation experience, ideally with aviation or transportation exposure.
- Strong trial, deposition, and client counseling skills.
