- Certified MAs (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) are eligible for a higher starting pay rate.
- Uncertified MAs receive support in obtaining certification, plus a pay increase once certification is achieved.
About The Position
- Partner with healthcare providers during in-home patient visits to support comprehensive patient care and ensure a positive patient experience.
- Collect and document patient medical histories, vital signs, and clinical information accurately within EMR systems.
- Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, and other clinical support activities in accordance with established protocols.
- Educate and engage patients while assisting with preventive care initiatives and the management of chronic health conditions.
- Coordinate pre-visit and post-visit activities, maintain necessary medical supplies and equipment, and travel throughout assigned counties to support field-based patient care.
Required Qualifications For The Bilingual Certified Medical Assistant
- High School Graduate/GED/Equivalent Work or Vocational/Technical School/Diploma, required
- Valid Georgia driver's license and reliable transportation required
- 1+ year(s) of experience as a medical assistant working with adults / geriatrics
- Ability to communicate fluently in English and Spanish, both orally and in writing, required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30-days of hire
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency and experience using EMRs
