Description:
The Gamma Alpha Pi Foundation is seeking dynamic, ethical, and strategic leaders to join the Board of Directors. As a board member, you will guide the Foundation's charitable mission, uphold fiduciary responsibilities, and support the growth of its impact across communities. The Foundation is dedicated to empowering men through mentorship, leadership development, and service, aiming to create a world where men lead with integrity and help strengthen communities.
Uphold the Foundation’s charitable mission and ensure all activities align with the public good
Provide strategic direction, financial oversight, and ensure organizational accountability
Approve major programs, budgets, and grantmaking activities
Ensure compliance with IRS 501(c)(3) regulations, conflict of interest policies, and ethical standards
Serve on at least one committee (e.g., Governance, Fundraising, Audit, Programs)
Leverage personal network and expertise to expand resources, partnerships, and public support
Act as a public ambassador for the Foundation’s mission and work
Demonstrated commitment to community development, mentorship, education, or social impact
Experience in nonprofit governance, fundraising, finance, law, public affairs, youth development, or related fields is highly desirable
High integrity, sound judgment, and alignment with the Foundation’s core values of Love, Strength, and Vision
Ability to work collaboratively and honor the mission-first nature of the organization
Must not have a significant conflict of interest with the Foundation’s public purpose
Board experience preferred, but not required
Term Length: 2 years (renewable, up to 3 terms)
Board Composition: Independent board; limited crossover with Gamma Alpha Pi Fraternity and GAP Legacy Holdings to preserve compliance and trust
Meetings: Quarterly virtual meetings, plus annual in-person gathering (as feasible)
A meaningful leadership role in a fast-growing movement shaping the future of men’s mentorship and community development
Collaboration with purpose-driven leaders in faith, education, and community development
Opportunity to influence strategy and direct charitable impact on a national and global scale
