Business Systems Analyst

Description:

A highly experienced Business Systems Analyst is sought to join a cross-functional team, working across data engineering, analytics, and cloud infrastructure. The successful candidate will serve as a key bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that data warehouse and cloud-based data projects align with business needs.

Responsibilities include leading requirements gathering for complex data and cloud projects, performing data mapping, identifying and validating data sources, and writing SQL queries to support various business initiatives. The analyst will play a central role in documenting agile stories in JIRA, understanding AWS cloud architecture (including Redshift, Glue, S3, and Lambda), and assisting in troubleshooting data pipeline issues.

The role involves defining KPIs, ensuring data compliance, managing UAT planning, and potentially helping with visual prototyping such as wireframes and mockups. You will support ingestion processes, assess business impact of system changes, and perform cost-benefit analyses. The ideal candidate will be analytically strong, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator across technical and business audiences.
