• Basic Qualifications:
• B.S. in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Ceramic Engineering or related discipline from an ABET accredited institution
• Experience in processing, testing or deployment of ceramics in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to effectively communicate with suppliers, production facilities, R&D teams, and leadership on projects and technical efforts
• Experience in industrial milling, blending, and firing processes
• Familiarity with laboratory testing techniques used in the characterization of the structure and properties of nonmetallic materials including: microscopy, density, particle size, MOR and dilatometry.
• Familiarity with investment casting and related processes is desirable but not required
