Description:

The Trade Helper – Part Marker assists production by accurately marking and labeling parts according to instructions, supporting skilled trades, and maintaining organized, safe work areas.

Explore The Depth Of The Role
 

  • Mark, tag, and label parts, materials, and components according to work orders, drawings, or specifications
  • Use markers, stamps, etching tools, or labels to apply identification numbers, codes, or symbols
  • Verify part numbers, quantities, and markings for accuracy before and after marking
  • Assist skilled tradespeople by preparing parts and materials for fabrication or production
  • Read and follow basic blueprints, shop drawings, or instructions
  • Maintain organization of marked and unmarked parts to prevent mix-ups
  • Inspect parts for defects or damage prior to marking and report issues to supervisors
  • Keep marking tools, workstations, and storage areas clean and in safe working condition
  • Follow workplace safety procedures and quality standards at all times
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
     

Requirements

Mission Readiness:
 

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • 0-2 years of experience

Physical Requirements
 

  • May be required to stand, walk, sit, reach/pull/push with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel regularly.
  • May lift or carry 50lbs. Weights exceeding 50lbs will require mechanical means to maneuver.
