We are looking for a Checkpoint Firewall Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-grade firewall solutions.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
✔️ Design, configure, and optimize Checkpoint firewall solutions
✔️ Manage & monitor SmartCenter, Multi-Domain Management, SmartEvent, Log Servers
✔️ Provide SME-level firewall policy & rule base design
✔️ Collaborate with cross-functional teams for secure network architecture
✔️ Act as senior escalation for complex firewall/security issues
✔️ Support 24x7 on-call rotation for incidents & urgent maintenance
✔️ Perform security audits, compliance checks & risk assessments
✔️ Stay updated with latest firewall security best practices
🎯 Required Skills
✅ 5+ years with Checkpoint firewall (R80.x and above preferred)
✅ Strong knowledge of NAT, VPNs, intrusion prevention, TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, OSPF
✅ Hands-on with Checkpoint management & logging servers
✅ Large-scale firewall deployment & troubleshooting expertise
✅ Willingness to work in mission-critical 24x7 environments
⭐ Nice to Have
🔹 Experience with GTP firewall policies, LTE/5G security
🔹 CheckPoint Certifications: CCSA, CCSE, CCSM
🔹 Telecom / Mobile carrier environment experience
