We are seeking a forward-thinking Chief Information & Digital Officer (CIDO) to drive customer-facing digital strategy, innovation adoption, and value creation. This is not an internal IT role—our CIDO will complement our existing CIO by focusing on external digital growth, ecosystem integration, and applied AI.

Position Overview

The CIDO will lead Future Tech’s digital strategy as it relates to our customers, partners, and service delivery models. This includes the advancement of AI-driven business solutions, automation tools, digital platforms, and scalable partner ecosystems. The ideal candidate is both a business technologist and transformation leader who understands how to bridge cutting-edge technology with measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer-Facing Innovation: Design and execute digital initiatives that improve customer engagement, operational value, and solution delivery.
  • AI & Automation Strategy: Identify and lead the integration of AI, machine learning, and automation tools into customer solutions and internal service delivery.
  • Ecosystem Engagement: Partner closely with OEMs and technology vendors (e.g., Dell, NVIDIA, Cisco) to co-create scalable, repeatable digital offerings.
  • Digital Productization: Develop and launch digital capabilities (portals, dashboards, analytics platforms) that extend our market differentiation.
  • Executive Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with the CEO, CRO, BD, and Operations teams to identify digital business opportunities and strategic alignment.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent Future Tech at industry events, conferences, and client engagements to promote our innovation agenda.
  • Travel: Engage directly with clients, partners, and field teams across the U.S. (30–50% travel required).

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in digital transformation, customer innovation, or technology strategy roles—preferably in IT services, consulting, or solution provider environments.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue-generating digital initiatives, AI deployment, or partner-integrated platforms.
  • Strong familiarity with public sector/federal customer dynamics and enterprise partner ecosystems.
  • Executive presence and strong communication skills—able to articulate vision across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A strategic mindset with a bias toward execution, metrics, and measurable impact.
  • Willingness to be based in-office in Fort Lauderdale/Miami with frequent U.S. travel.

What This Role Is Not

This CIDO role is not a traditional IT leadership position. It is distinct from the CIO, who manages internal systems, infrastructure, and corporate IT operations. The CIDO is outward-facing—focused on driving digital differentiation, customer innovation, and technology-based business strategy.
