EverHire is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Civil / Site Engineer to join a well-established Civil Engineering Design Firm based in Nashville, TN. This full-time, 100% remote position is ideal for professionals looking to advance their careers while contributing to meaningful infrastructure and land development projects.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and designing civil/site projects from initial concept through to construction, utilizing tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D. You will collaborate virtually with clients, municipalities, and other stakeholders to ensure design compliance and project efficiency. Responsibilities also include leading or supporting the permitting process and mentoring junior staff to strengthen the remote project team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently manage civil/site and land development projects remotely.

• Create detailed site layouts, grading, drainage, utilities, and erosion control plans.

• Collaborate virtually with clients and regulatory authorities to ensure design standards are met.

• Lead permitting processes and secure necessary approvals.

• Support junior team members and foster a high-performing, remote-first team culture.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in site development and civil design.

• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.

• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D or equivalent tools.

• Excellent communication, project management, and remote collaboration skills.
