Construction Litigation Associate

Description:

Our client is seeking a Construction Litigation Associate to handle disputes involving construction projects, including contract issues, construction/design defects, builder's liens, and debt collections. This role represents contractors, subcontractors, developers, and other industry stakeholders from strategy through resolution.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Manage a caseload of construction-related litigation matters
• Draft pleadings, briefs, and discovery
• Represent clients in court, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations
• Advise clients on construction contracts, liens, zoning, codes, and insurance issues
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to prepare cases for trial
   

Qualifications
 

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Licensed and in good standing in Tennessee
• Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills
