As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC lathes, mills, and gear grinders. The role includes hands-on machining, programming (MasterCam/Gear Pro), and general shop responsibilities. Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in precision tools, mechanical drawings, and machine operation in a high-quality shop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain CNC lathes, mills, and/or gear grinders

• Create CNC programs for fabrication and machining operations

• Ensure all machines and tools are in optimal working condition

• Follow all safety and quality control procedures and codes

• Utilize both hand and power tools as necessary

• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints and documentation

• Perform general maintenance and emergency repairs on equipment

• Use fixtures and tooling appropriately to ensure accurate machining

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Experience in CNC machining required

• Programming experience in MasterCam and/or Gear Pro is a plus

• Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding mechanical documents

• Familiarity with machine shop environments

• Basic hand tool knowledge and precision measuring tool proficiency

• Able to operate turning, milling, grinding, and gear shaping equipment

• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

• Knowledge of maintenance processes and emergency repair handling
