Cnc Machinist

Description:

Regal Rexnord is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist III for the 1st shift to join its growing Aerospace and Defense division in a state-of-the-art, climate-controlled facility. This role offers a $4,000 sign-on bonus, competitive pay between $23 and $33 per hour, and an attractive benefits package starting from day one.

The CNC Machinist III will be responsible for operating, setting up, and programming CNC lathes, mills, and other machining equipment to produce precision components within tight tolerances. Responsibilities include working from process sheets, blueprints, setup sheets, and written or verbal instructions, installing and re-cutting chuck jaws, inserting and securing tooling, and performing minor programming adjustments. The machinist will inspect their own work and the work of others to ensure adherence to company quality standards, operate multiple machines when needed, rotate across departments, and accurately record data in the ERP system. The role also involves loading and unloading parts up to 25 lbs and performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years’ CNC machining experience with demonstrated proficiency in at least two types of machines (lathe, mill, resistance spot welder).

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions in English.

• Intermediate machine setup knowledge.

• Solid math skills and mechanical aptitude (Machinist test required for external candidates).

• Reliable attendance record.

• Must meet U.S. Person criteria per federal export control laws.
