Communications Manager

Description:

We’re looking for someone who can:

• Develops, executes and measure the effectiveness of strategic public relations and special events to support company collection goals.
• Oversee the communication of assigned region providing feedback as a part of the national communications strategy.
• Cultivate and develop new and existing relationships with the media to facilitate organizations media and public relations objectives.
• Serves as a primary spokesperson and coordinate media contact and communications with other spokespersons in the organization as appropriate
• Recruit, develop and utilize community-based committees and contacts to assist with awareness, networking, outreach and collaboration
• Manage donor and coordinator recognition programs events and special blood donation events

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent education/experience
• Bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations or Marketing preferred
• Four years related experience required
• Two years of supervisory experience preferred
• Valid in-state driver license
