Job Details

  • The work location for this position is Urenco USA, Eunice, NM
  • Work Schedule: Professional work schedule/ with minimal night/ weekend support. Some nights and weekend work may be required. Employees are also subject to call-outs as needed
  • Travel Required: 15% of the time or less as required.
  • Security Clearance Requirement: Controlled Access Area (CAA) Access and an L or Q level security clearance is required
  • Work Environment: Radiological exposure expectations of < 100 mrem/yr. General Office, Plant Production Areas.
  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets etc

Primary Functions

  • Leads the creation of comprehensive communication plans to provide current and accurate information to internal and external stakeholders in advanced fuels including fabricators, power plants and end users
  • Directs collaboration with staff to develop cohesive communications, marketing campaigns and news releases particularly regarding advanced fuels
  • Develops new and maintains longstanding cooperative relationships with representatives of advanced fuels community and employees
  • Focuses internal data resources and market research to identify trends and opportunities to inform communication strategy and brand development
  • Collaborate with staff for input on compelling and effective layout design for print and electronic materials
  • Oversees the development graphics and layouts and review final layouts for product illustrations, company logos, internet, intranet, social media, and electronic message boards/information screens
  • Directs and supports the corporate photographer and video editor
  • Monitors the production of timely responses, announcements, and marketing distribution
  • Update and maintain content posted on the internet, intranet and social media
  • Manage coordination of broadcast emails to the community, including the uploading and maintenance of email distribution lists
  • Manage digital asset platforms and ensure accuracy and currency of tagging and data structures
  • Support the gathering and reporting of web analytics to help optimize digital communications
  • Manage relations with photographers, printers, and external vendors, including invoicing
  • Assist with intake of project requests, confer with the Communications Manager and Directors on priorities
  • Support office operations by maintaining the marketing archive, monitoring the team email inbox, and tracking critical action items for the department
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with daily, weekly and monthly deadlines
  • Oversees that all design work both internally and externally is executed strategically and in adherence with the corporate guidelines
  • Support corporate special event planning
  • Support the Emergency Response Organization in the Joint Information Center as assigned
