Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Manage and lead teams through Bidding, Permitting, and Construction Phase for several concurrent projects
  • Lead and collaborate in team meetings to discuss project issues, technical issues, and coordination with other disciplines
  • Communicate with clients, contractors, and consultants throughout all phases of the project
  • Manage and respond to requests for information (RFI’s) and maintain contract documents
  • Process and review shop drawings, submittals & samples
  • Promote the firm’s reputation through good client relations and participation in community/professional groups and activities,
  • Provide appropriate guidance to the owner’s representatives, their outside consultants, and their resources
  • Perform periodic site visits, observations, and punch lists

 

 

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an NAAB-accredited institution, preferred
  • 10+ years of professional architectural experience; registration preferred or equivalent construction experience,
  • Experience with Revit/BIM Collaborate Pro, Procore, Newforma and Bluebeam
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
  • A desire to work collaboratively with team members in a constructive and engaged manner
  • Advanced knowledge of architectural building systems, accessibility guidelines, hospitality facilities, and building codes
  • Advanced knowledge of the Owner-Architect Agreement, Owner-Contractor Agreement and Architect-Consultant Agreements and legal responsibilities of professional practice, potential errors and omissions, liabilities in design and construction, and professional ethics
  • Substantial experience in dealing with governmental agencies, regulations, and building/zoning codes
  • Travel throughout North America will be required
