Corrosion Engineer

Description:

In this role, you can expect to be working on a wide variety of projects across the energy industry, supporting AC and DC interface modeling and ground designing. A multidisciplinary opportunity in its nature, you can expect to work on a multitude of project types on structures that are susceptible to corrosion, like pipelines, steel, etc.

Stern Requirements:

• Experience utilizing the modeling systems SES, CDEGS, and ELSYC (2 of 3, we can work with)
• Experience on utility projects
• Bachelors degree in Engineering or a Physical Science
• SES level 1 certification or equivalent
• Open to very limited occasional travel (if you live far from Baltimore, Chicago, Kansas or Denver)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Corrosion - its a niched market, and its teachable! If you have experience with the required modeling systems and are open to expanding into new territory, this role can still be for you.
• NACE certifications, such as Cathodic Protection Technician, Corrosion Technician, or Internal Corrosion Technologist
