Emergency Communications Engineer

Description:

We are looking for an experienced Emergency Communications Engineer to support NYC 911 and emergency response communication infrastructure.
Required Skills & Experience:
8+ years of Data Center or Field Engineering experience.
8+ years of Network Support, including LAN/WAN troubleshooting.
Strong experience with Telecom, VoIP, Wireline, and Wireless communication systems.
Hands-on experience with LEC Circuit Termination and Turn-up.
Knowledge of Telecom Cabling, Racking, Cabling, and Network Hardware.
Experience with Excel, Visio, and Word documentation.
Knowledge of E911, NG911, and Emergency Communications systems is a plus.

ESInet and Public Safety Communications
ANI/ALI, ACD, and DMS
Text-to-911, SMS, MMS, and RTT
P25 Radio Networks and GIS
Important Requirements:
Only candidates local to the NY Metropolitan or NJ area.
Must be comfortable working 100% onsite.
LinkedIn profile and valid Driver's License are mandatory.
Must be available for an in-person interview in NYC.
Willingness to travel within NYC and support after-hours/on-call requirements.
