Description:

MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified healthcare staffing agency, is currently seeking a qualified and experienced CT Technologist for a contract opportunity in Worcester, MA, with one of their top healthcare clients.

The selected candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans, producing cross-sectional images of patients’ bones, organs, and soft tissues to assist in medical diagnosis and treatment planning. This position is on-site and contract-based, ideal for healthcare professionals interested in travel assignments and diverse clinical exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CT imaging equipment to capture detailed diagnostic images.

• Position patients accurately using immobilization and protective equipment when necessary.

• Adjust and monitor scanning equipment and patient conditions during procedures.

• Assist radiologists with various procedures, including administering IVs and oral or IV contrast agents.

• Ensure all images meet technical quality standards and are properly labeled and organized.

• Support interventional CT procedures under radiologist supervision.

• Maintain accurate documentation, including patient charges and procedural details.

• Load and operate power injectors for contrast media delivery.

• Provide compassionate, timely, and efficient patient care aligned with safety and quality standards.

• Contribute to a safe working environment for both staff and patients, in accordance with national patient safety protocols.

Requirements:

• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification required.

• Licensure as required by the state.

• Minimum of 18 months prior experience as a CT Tech in a healthcare setting.

• Ability to function independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
