Cybersecurity Analyst

Description:

CrowdStrike is a global cybersecurity leader dedicated to stopping breaches with an AI-native platform. This position is part of the DoD SkillBridge program, offering transitioning U.S. Armed Forces members an opportunity to gain real-world experience in cybersecurity incident detection, response, and remediation. Participants will work full-time (40 hours/week) on-site in St Louis or San Antonio, with some hybrid remote work possible after training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct incident handling across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms.

• Perform basic malware analysis.

• Develop and improve incident detection and countermeasure processes.

• Communicate findings and recommendations to customer management via written and verbal reports.

• Represent CrowdStrike in public forums such as blogs and speaking events.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience or background in one or more areas: Incident Handling, Computer Forensics, Systems Administration, Network Forensics, Malware Analysis, Incident Remediation, Network Operations/Architecture, Programming/Scripting (C, C#, VB, Python, Perl, Ruby on Rails, .NET).

• Self-motivated with strong project management skills.

• Ability to complete technical tasks independently.

• Desire to grow technical and soft skills.

• U.S. Active Duty Service Member eligible for SkillBridge program (final 180 days of service).

• Willingness to work on-site.

• U.S. citizenship or Green Card holder.

Education:

• BA/BS or MA/MS in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related fields preferred.

• Relevant work experience or training may substitute for degree.
