Description:

Responsibilities include:

Conducting face-to-face interviews with visitors at The Cantor Arts Center and The Anderson Collection and entering all responses into a digital database. The interviews are designed to explore visitors' reasons for visiting, decision making around what they do during their visit, and perceptions of the overall quality and impact of their visit. Audience Focus researchers will train and manage data collection throughout the data collection period.

 

Skill Requirements:

  • Strong interest in museum-based evaluation
  • Confidence engaging with the public
  • Prior experience collecting data for an evaluation or research study, including conducting interviews with diverse audiences, facilitating written surveys, and/or conducting focused observations of subjects in naturalistic settings
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational skills and time management abilities
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills in any of the following languages are a plus: Cantonese, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Spanish
