Aditi Consulting is seeking a skilled Information Technology Data Engineer to join its team in Johnston, IA. This contract position requires a highly analytical individual with strong technical expertise in data engineering, visualization, and large-scale data processing. The role involves working in dynamic environments where requirements may not always be clearly defined, making adaptability and problem-solving essential.

As a Data Engineer, you will leverage SQL, Python, PySpark, and visualization tools to transform raw datasets into actionable insights. You will design and develop automated testing solutions, create dashboards, and support business teams by delivering reliable and scalable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Combine raw data into meaningful summarizations for business stakeholders.

• Develop automated unit tests to ensure data accuracy and system reliability.

• Work with large-scale datasets to design efficient pipelines and workflows.

• Create dashboards and data visualizations to support decision-making.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex data into actionable insights.

• Design and maintain Tableau dashboards for business reporting.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 1–3 years of SQL experience.

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Python and PySpark.

• Strong experience with dashboard design and data visualization (3–5 years).

• 1–3 years of experience with Tableau.

• Knowledge of automated unit testing frameworks.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work effectively in uncertain and evolving project environments.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay Rate: $66.66/hr (Contract).
