Data Engineers

 

Description:

We are looking for Data Engineers who will build scalable data platforms, pipelines, databases, and cloud data applications for our financial services clients. The team leverages Snowflake, ETL and streaming technologies, cloud platforms, and modern engineering practices to modernize enterprise data ecosystems. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role that spans the full data lifecycle.

Your Key Responsibilities

The goal is to help clients solve complex business problems by delivering scalable, reliable, and well-governed data solutions. You will build resilient batch and streaming pipelines, design data models and cloud data applications, apply data quality standards, and own assigned workstreams independently from design through production support.

Skills And Attributes For Success
 

  • Working knowledge and hands-on experience building data platforms, pipelines, and cloud data applications using Snowflake.
  • Working knowledge and hands-on experience with ETL, streaming, and integration technologies such as Informatica, SnapLogic, and Kafka.
  • Working knowledge of data modeling, SQL, database design, and query performance tuning.
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, and of Python, containers, and Kubernetes.
  • Build resilient batch and streaming pipelines, and apply data quality, lineage, and observability standards.
  • Own assigned workstreams independently from design through production support, and resolve production data issues.
  • Collaborate across product, engineering, testing, and operations teams, and mentor less-experienced team members where appropriate.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
     

To qualify for the role you must have
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in data engineering and cloud data platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake and enterprise data platform development.
  • Working knowledge of ETL, streaming, and integration technologies such as Informatica, SnapLogic, and Kafka.
  • Experience with data modeling, SQL, database design, and performance tuning.
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Experience with Python, containers, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Jenkins, Artifactory, uDeploy, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Comfortable working in Agile environments and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.
