Database Administrator

Description:

We’re looking for an experienced Database Administrator (15+ years) to join our FDOT project team. This role requires deep expertise in DB2 for z/OS, SQL Server, and Oracle databases with a strong background in performance tuning, disaster recovery, and enterprise-level data management.

What you’ll be doing:

• Manage and optimize DB2, SQL Server, and Oracle databases
• Perform daily DBA operational activities and SQL code reviews
• Develop & maintain database administration procedures
• Work on performance monitoring, tuning, and recovery planning
• Collaborate on database architecture & infrastructure planning
• Mentor and support technical staff

What we’re looking for:

✔️ 15+ years of combined DBA experience (DB2/SQL Server/Oracle)

✔️ Strong experience with DB2 for z/OS

✔️ Knowledge of JCL, COBOL, RACF, CICS, ISPF

✔️ Solid understanding of Disaster Recovery planning

✔️ Familiarity with Azure & Windows Servers is a plus
