CHI Health, in collaboration with Creighton University Medical Center and the Heart & Vascular Institute, is seeking an Academic Electrophysiology Cardiologist to join its expanding clinical, research, and academic program. The Heart & Vascular Institute at Creighton University Medical Center is recognized as one of the nation’s leading heart programs, designated as a TAVR, TEER, AFIB, Watchman & LAAO Centers of Excellence, and is highly engaged in national and international clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality device procedures and complex lab cases in Electrophysiology.

• Ensure further growth of the Electrophysiology program and participate in the adoption of cutting-edge technologies.

• Collaborate with CommonSpirit Service Line on clinical trials, research initiatives, and innovative techniques.

• Participate in and support an award-winning Device Clinic with three dedicated Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).

• Teach, mentor, and educate fellows, residents, and medical students at Creighton University’s School of Medicine.

• Conduct clinical research in collaboration with CommonSpirit and Creighton University faculty.

Qualifications

• Fellowship training in Electrophysiology Cardiology.

• American Board Certified or Board Eligible in the relevant medical specialty.

• Valid and unrestricted state medical license or eligibility to obtain one.

• Demonstrated ability to work in an academic and teaching environment.

• Strong interest in research, innovation, and academic contribution.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay: $300 – $333 per hour

• Monthly equivalent: approximately $48000 – $53280 per month (based on 40 hours/week)
