CHI Health, in collaboration with Creighton University Medical Center and the Heart & Vascular Institute, is seeking an Academic Electrophysiology Cardiologist to join its expanding clinical, research, and academic program. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to work in a leading academic health system, providing high-quality patient care, performing complex procedures, and contributing to innovative research and medical education.
The Heart & Vascular Institute at Creighton University Medical Center is recognized as one of the nation’s leading heart programs, designated as a TAVR, TEER, AFIB, Watchman & LAAO Centers of Excellence, and is highly engaged in national and international clinical trials.
Perform high-quality device procedures and complex lab cases in Electrophysiology.
Ensure further growth of the Electrophysiology program and participate in the adoption of cutting-edge technologies.
Collaborate with CommonSpirit Service Line on clinical trials, research initiatives, and innovative techniques.
Participate in and support an award-winning Device Clinic with three dedicated Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
Teach, mentor, and educate fellows, residents, and medical students at Creighton University’s School of Medicine.
Conduct clinical research in collaboration with CommonSpirit and Creighton University faculty.
Fellowship training in Electrophysiology Cardiology.
American Board Certified or Board Eligible in the relevant medical specialty.
Valid and unrestricted state medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
Demonstrated ability to work in an academic and teaching environment.
Strong interest in research, innovation, and academic contribution.
Hourly pay: $300 – $333 per hour
Monthly equivalent: approximately $48000 – $53280 per month (based on 40 hours/week)
