Engineering Planning Specialist

Skills Required

• Associate's Degree preferably in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or related field of study
• Minimum 8 years of related experience with project management / project controls experience such as scheduling, risk and / or planning
• Experience with program financial reporting and analysis
• Experience reporting on Earned Value
• Experience with risk and opportunity management
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Candidate must be resourceful and work independently to develop approaches to solutions
• Ability to initiate, prioritize, and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred

• Proficiency in PM Compass for monitoring earned value
• MS Project, Access, and Visio Excel Pivot Tables
• Able to manipulate reports generated in PowerBI
• Technical knowledge of defense systems
• Experience working with engineers
• Bachelor's Degree preferably in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or related field of study
