BURGEON IT SERVICES is seeking a Senior DevSecOps – Enterprise Architect to join its hybrid workforce based in the Bay Area, CA, and Texas. This role is ideal for a seasoned IT professional with a strong background in enterprise-level architecture, DevSecOps methodologies, IT automation, and secure software delivery processes. The role requires strategic leadership in designing and managing scalable DevSecOps frameworks and aligning IT capabilities with evolving business objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise and a visionary mindset to build secure, automated CI/CD pipelines and lead enterprise IT transformation initiatives. This role will require close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, including business leaders and technical teams, to ensure architecture decisions support broader business goals while maintaining robust security, performance, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and evolve the enterprise-wide DevSecOps architecture, ensuring it meets business and operational needs.

• Lead and implement automation initiatives and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) best practices across various systems and platforms.

• Design and integrate secure software development processes into CI/CD pipelines, enforcing DevSecOps principles at every stage.

• Collaborate with stakeholders and executive leadership to align IT infrastructure and architectural landscape with organizational goals and digital strategies.

• Provide guidance and architectural governance across engineering, operations, and security teams.

• Identify and mitigate risks related to systems integration, scalability, and compliance.

Required Qualifications:

• 15–20 years of overall experience in IT, including 5–10 years in DevSecOps and Enterprise Architecture.

• Proven expertise in DevSecOps, enterprise IT architecture, automation, and ALM tools.

• Strong understanding of modern CI/CD tools, pipelines, and secure software practices.

• Experience designing and implementing large-scale, secure, and resilient IT systems.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Familiarity with industry compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC2, ISO27001).

• Strong background in IT strategy development and roadmap execution.
