Etl Developer

Description:

We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer with strong IBM DataStage experience to design, develop, and maintain data integration and ETL solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in DataStage development, SQL, data warehousing, data transformation, and working with large-scale enterprise data environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL processes using IBM DataStage.
• Develop complex ETL jobs, jobs sequences, workflows, transformations, and data integration processes.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable ETL solutions.
• Develop data extraction, transformation, and loading processes from multiple source systems.
• Perform data mapping, cleansing, validation, transformation, and reconciliation.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Troubleshoot ETL jobs, identify root causes, and resolve data and performance issues.
• Monitor production ETL processes and provide support for data integration issues.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, data validation, and defect resolution.
• Work closely with Business Analysts, Data Architects, Database Developers, QA teams, and other technology teams.
• Prepare technical documentation including source-to-target mappings, ETL specifications, and data flow documentation.
• Follow established development, testing, deployment, and change management processes

Required Qualifications:

· Strong hands-on experience with IBM InfoSphere DataStage.

· 10+ years of experience in developing complex ETL jobs and job sequences.

· Strong SQL skills with experience in relational databases.

· Good understanding of Data Warehousing concepts.

· Experience with data extraction, transformation, loading, validation, and reconciliation.

· Experience working with large-volume datasets and enterprise data environments.

· Strong troubleshooting and performance-tuning skills.

· Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting.

· Understanding of database concepts, data modeling, and data integration.

· Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
